The COMMUNITY Program is operated by a small board of 10 volunteers – committed to children. Our vision is to one day raise enough funds to employ a fulltime program coordinator and assistant. Your tax deductible gift will help us realize that vision.
The COMMUNITY Program is a United Way funded Agency – but those limited dollars (less than $5,000 annually) prevent us from hosting events for our children such as “Kick-off,” year-end or Mentor recognition programs for our children, mentors or the guidance counselors who work so hard at matching students with adults. Each of these events is so very important! Your tax deductible gift will help us reasonably reinstate some of these activities.
Reports, data collection, name recognition and grant writing = program sustainability, capacity building and ultimately GROWTH! IT CAN’T HAPPEN WITHOUT YOU!
